In line with the aim of improving the health of every Valenzuelano, a medical caravan, Alagang Valenzuelano, came to visit the pupils of Antonio M. Serapio Elementary School for a medical and dental check-up last June 18, 2015. Pupils and teachers warmly welcomed the caravan as it entered the premises of AMSES hoping for a better health status and future. It can be said that the activity is a success due to the effort exerted by the medical personnel aided by the teachers in guiding the pupils as they undergo the process of checking their bodily health. This caravan is an annual event done to monitor and improve the health of every Valenzuelano, especially the children. Through this activity the community can be oriented on the importance of health and its relation to a sound mind and body.
This can also give a clear view of how health can affect the performances of pupils in school, and how they can grow up as better individuals and productive citizens of a well nurtured country. Alagang Valenzuelano is set to come back again sometime in July to monitor the progress of the said pupils.
